The best time to visit Lesmurdie Falls is in the winter for the water flow and spring for the wild flowers.

I took the Shoulder Lookout trail which then went into the Valley Loop trail. Today, there was a light shower of rain. Therefore, this made the steep rocky trail quite slippery, so was very greatful for the walking pole. It is a challenging trail so beware but thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoyed the challenge and there were great views from up top. If you do take this trail you do have to cross the water which today wasn’t an issue as there was not a lot of water but could be if there was a lot of water.

This park has plenty of picnic tables and there are toilets too and an easy access walkway to the falls lookout so well worth a day trip with friends and family.

I walked the Lesmurdie Falls in September 2017, so click on this link for the video. Lesmurdie Falls Spetember 2017
