Tomato Lake- City of Belmont Western Australia

Tomato Lake-City of Belmont, Western Australia is located at Oats Street in Kewdale. There are toilet facilities, BBQ and picnic tables and a children’s playground. It is a very well maintained park with lots of green grass and good paths to walk around the perimeter of the lake. The day I was there, there were lots of birds and the flowers were starting to bloom. I even saw a pair of Spoonbills which I rarely see.
Tomato Lake is only a 4kms return trip from where I live, for this reason it is my regular walking spot.

The Ibis’s are in abundance in this park and can be very noisy. Furthermore, there are pelicans, various species of ducks, also smaller water birds. Certainly a great place for a photographer to catch birds in flight!
